  1. Congratulations Guy, Linda and Heath! I'm overjoyed by your new family!
  2. Congratulations Scott, Sandi and Skye! You must be overjoyed. My thoughts and prayers are with Aime and I am proud that she had the courage to place those precious boys. Lots of love Aime!
  3. The media takes every opportunity to drive home their point that children adopted by you and born to you are not the same.
  4. It was with great sadness I learned of Rev. Vanderwerf's passing in the early hours of this morning. He was such a kind man, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. His compassion, wit and generous heart obviously live on in his children and grandchildren. I feel blessed to have known him. I am so so sad to learn of Tracy's passing. I pray for her children, her loved ones, and the adoptive family who opened their hearts to her.
  5. Maury and Debra, I couldn't be happier for you! We all knew that Nicholas was meant to forever be yours!

  11. WOW! Go Abrazo! Congratulations to the newest families! Brett and Colleen, what an amazing story! Proof that amazing things happen on God's time, not ours! Congratulations to you and prayers to your sweet birthmother. I'm so glad you've found your way back to each other!
  12. Congratulations to Mark, Laurie, and the girls! I'm thrilled to pieces to hear of your placement!
  13. What a beautiful announcment! Congratulations to the newest family and many gentle hugs and prayers of peace for this little guy's courageous birthmom!
  14. So glad to have you back!

  15. I think you worded it just right. Children can't be bought. That's why we say there are no prices in adoption. There are costs and fees for services but no price tags on children. It's also why some fees are non-refundable in the event of non-placement. Because the prospective adoptive parents weren't paying for the baby that wasn't, they were paying for the services that were already rendered.
  16. bumping this topic up for a recent ap inquiry
  17. Hi Imelda!

It's great to see you here!

  18. On Saturday night a woman dropped a baby off at a San Antonio fire station. Apparently she was a friend of a friend of the baby's mother. Read Story Here. Because she didn't follow proper Baby Moses law procedures she could face abandonment charges. If only this mother could have found Abrazo and instead she could have made a confidential adoption plan providing her baby with safety and security without being persecuted for her choice. It's never to late to consider your options! A fireman can't find your baby home but Abrazo can!
  19. Amy we're so glad to have your voice on our forum! Please keep posting and include a link to that fabulous blog of yours!

  20. This little guy has a very sweet nurse who obviously cares a lot about him. She told us that he likes to watch cartoons and they have a TV set up for him with a variety of videos. He also likes to look out the window above his crib where he can see the clouds roll by and gaze at the sunshine. She told us he's usually a happy little guy who gurgles and smiles as she cares for him. He has a head of soft hair and big bright eyes. I'm keeping this little one in my prayers as I know his family is out there somewhere....
