  1. Congratulations Amy and Craig! Welcome Baby Charlie!!!!!!!!!!!! We didn't get to see you while we were there for finalization but Lucas ended up sick with Roseola. Our first time he has ever been sick was December 2, Thursday while traveling and he spiked a tempature and we got it down that night after I called the pediatrician and his temp came back Friday so we had a quiet cuddly Lucas instead of a fun happy Lucas during finalization and we didn't get to visit with anyone. BUT ......you weren't there yet........AREN'T BOYS WONDERFUL!!! We will be praying for all who love this baby boy Teresa

Congratulations on your baby boy! We are so excited for you and Miss Sophia. Last year at the TN picnic they told us we would have a baby before the next picnic and they were right! We been off the forum for a while but I'm back on but I don't know how to reduce the size of my pictures to upload to Abrazo. Looking forward to following your family.

A big welcome to Abrazo. We are "Parents In Waiting" and we are from the Cordova, Tn area. There is a wonderful group of Adoptive Parents in Tn. We have made many friends and have received so much encouragement from them and from the Forum Family. The Forum is a wonderful place............ Teresa and Ric Taylor

  11. These are indeed very difficult situations that tug at the heart. Life is so hard it seems for some and so easy for others. We will be praying for this mother and her two children and I too pray for a fairy tale ending, praying God will bless all the families involved and maybe a family not involved at this time but maybe will be in the near future. Teresa
  12. Praying for this family and little boy and for all involved during this time of grief. Teresa

  14. Penny was very special and it is hard for me to believe she is really gone. I haven't been able to look at pennies the same since her passing. I just finished reading the book last week: The Penny by #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Joyce Meyer and Deborah Bedford and it already had me thinking about pennies. A great emotional story that is still with me in my mind and heart in that this book showed me how God works in the smallest details, even in something as small as a penny. The smallest details can change everything! But Penny wasn't small in anything, like Elizabeth said she was a force to be reckoned with. Penny meant so much to me personally. She encouraged me and believed in me and we talked about "our bundle of joy to come" many times. She was a fun mother and inspired me to want to be like her with my child when she shared stories on child rearing. Ric and I visited her in the hospital and even with her so sick she still was smiling and concerned about us and our journey. Kinda ironic but we had a birthmom call scheduled that same evening and we told her and she was so excited for us. I have to admit, for me losing Penny feels like another bump in the road and in my heart but I'm proud to say Penny Glatstein was a great friend and a social worker with a passion for finding the right baby for the right family. She loved her calling and work. Penny, I will miss you! Teresa

  19. Thanks! Since I'm one of the older adopting moms, your words are reminders to me what I know, but might not feel every day. A real fit between both families is the goal. Thanks again. Teresa
