Deb- We started talking about Ty's adoption story at birth. It looked like reading adoption stories/books as an infant. It's talking "adoption" in everyday conversations like in DVD's that have adoption stories and there are plenty out there ie. Disney. Also, when we go see Ty's birth family we "talk" it up. Now, Ty may not understand "his" story or "adoption" for that matter but we've made it a "habit" and it "drips"....throughout daily routines....we don't say everything in one huge chunk because he is logical in his thinking now, but it's in our conversations now that he is 3 years old. Hope that helps some.

Deb- So glad you posted....we heard a few comments from the in laws.....ugh! But, alot had to do with the fact of "open" adoption. I believe, the key is to educate those around you and yourself for that matter. So glad you shared.

I pray alot about this and God's greater plans.... and the other day, I had to LOL because Ty said or what I thought he said, "playing for baby girl?" I said, "playing?"....He said, "NO, Mama, Praying for baby girl." It made my heart leap! I said, "Ty, YES, we are praying for baby girl Jones to find us!"

Susan- I was just thinking about you as I was driving today. I want to adopt again so badly. Someone's heart is not quite there yet. It pains me that God has a greater YES! HE holds our future. I just pray that it's sooner than later because it's hard waiting on God's plan. We've had a few nibbles along the way that we thought it was the one, but God stopped that adoption plan right in it's tracks. I still keep the faith and believe and truly plus secretly hope because I have a beautiful baby girl nursery up and ready for a precious soul. Thank you for sharing your heart!

I'm on one Infertilty forum and the words or phrase like: "baby dust" always ruffles feathers there.....it's an interesting topic though...
