Grandma Sharron, If my mother new how to use a computer, she would be on the Forum. I know my Mom had a great time with you to and it really helped her to understand how Anthony and I feel about our Abrazo Family. I can't believe 8 months have gone by. Can wait for you to meet our new addition Ayanna at our next reunion. I know she will have so much fun. I hope more grandparents get on also, maybe with the help of their kids. Yes, If you all have not figured it out. Anthony and I took placement with Ayanna the cutest little 4 year old with a smile that will make you melt. It is bittersweet as we feel in our hearts what our BP is going through but she knows she is a part of our family and our relationship will grow as this little girl needs both of her Moms to be in her life. She loves Andrew as he just laughs and smiles when she is with him. Anthony.... well what can I she is going to be Daddy's little girl. There will be some things we will have to work through but we have gone through this with open eyes and hearts. Thank you everyone at camp and the Abrazo Chicks for everything, It was great to share it with everyone. Linda

Thank you very much for your comforting message. Already, I feel Abrazo is the agency for us. No problem with us being ourself. Both of our parents brought up to be honest. We're honest and have no problem being completely honest and open. Again, thank you for your kinds words. Cathy Cathy, My husband and I are older parents when we applied with Abrazo and I thought that would be a problem but for us it was not. After the fertility and working with international adoption and asking about domestic, we were told it would take at least 3 - 5 years. Thank goodness we were brought to Abrazo becasue from Orientation to placement it was 5 months and now our Andrew is turning 1 in June. I'm sure every experience is different but as you said you have to be open and honest with the process. Good luck with your journey. PS- Abrazo is a special place... Linda
