Our story has uniqueness for both children and that is what truly makes each of them wonderful. While we definitely waited for both - first after infertility and second after many different agencies and several close calls....we know each was meant to be. Sure it was longer than we ever would have imagined but oh so more incredible than we could have imagined also. I agree with Melissa's comments about the older sibling being such a big part of the process the second time around. Our son prayed and prayed for years and at times was much more persistent than we were....he never gave up and knew what he wanted. I believe he knew what God's plan was and made sure we never gave up. Children have an uncanny way of knowing what is best
