I'm enjoying reading about the excitement of starting the adoption journey - thanks for posting us with updates, Melissa & Erin! Each step towards that sweet baby is a step closer - and it's a good number of steps when you have a big packet that has to get mailed and measured for postage!

Thanks for sharing the excerpts, Elizabeth - always good to keep us on our toes - and prepared for hurtful phrases. We just got back from a visit with Grace's birthmom this weekend. Grace had a blast playing with sister and cousins. She now has a firm understanding of the word "play" and is even agreeable about getting into the carseat when it is mentioned

The againers in our group were the strongest testimonial for Abrazo. At the same time, we look forward to starting another journey sometime soon

Donna did a good job of touching on the emotional resolvement of moving from infertility treatments to adoption. If you already have your mind on adoption, you are part of the way there. You may also want to check out the book "Adopting After Infertility" by Patricia Irwin Johnston. We had only a short time between ending treatments and starting the adoption process, because we too already had adoption on our minds. Unfortunately our first eight months was with the wrong agency.
