Congratulations to the Steadman's!!!! We have been prayerfully waiting with you to rejoice today. A perfect addition to your Great Family!!! Can't wait to actually meet that sweet girl. Hoping the car seat test does not take too long today. Thinking of "V" and family today also. Samantha and Nicholas can't wait to meet their new friend. When we travel next week to return Tristian home, maybe we can meet up somewhere.

Thank you everyone. It's been a long wait for this day, but we continued to keep the faith. Thanks to Abrazo, especially Renee, who traveled to meet with Nicholas' birthfather, and for continuing to work so hard on Nicholas' behalf and ours We are definitely THANKFUL this THANKSGIVING So, I guess we'll be visiting San Antonio around Christmas?? We couldn't think of a better place to be!!!

Congratulations to all the NEW FAMILIES!!!!! We rejoice with you.

As, Maury and I had just started talking seriously about starting the adoption process again this time last year, we received a call out of the blue from Elizabeth in regards to Samantha's birthmom being pregnant again and wanting to place. When Elizabeth told us, we literally did not have to think one minute about it and our immediate response was yes. . About 3months later we were on our way back to Texas to see a precious newborn baby boy which she placed with us. What a journey for us all. Our family always had this concerned look on their faces too after we had spoken to them about talking w/ Samantha and Nicholas' birthmom and even planning vacations to spend with her. Then when we told them we invited her to come to our home, it was obvious how nervous they all were about it.......but after meeting her, it all changed. They all have said to Maury and myself how much they really like her and it did take the "mystery" out of the situation. I think it was good for her to to actually see for herself how Samantha and Nicholas fit perfectly in our family. Now when we speak of
