  1. Hey guys! As a AP with a preemie just wanted to tell you to hang in there. There can be some really tough days and some really great days. Put your faith in each other and whom ever your Higher Power is. I never thought that we would make it through, but when I see Norah running around now it makes me believe in miracles. Let me know if you need anything! Good Luck! Erin

  2. The thing that made me the sickest about this whole ordeal was that she was glad not to be going to prison or getting the death penalty; I guess I would be too, but your daughter is still dead. Wether she is guilty or innocent she still does not have her daughter, which would personally make me just sick. I keep telling myself that the truth is between her and God and He will be the one to judge her in the long run. Sad, sad story. Erin
  3. My parents took our dog when we went to Texas to get Norah and he stayed with them because we were gone for almost 2 months. However, now they won't give us the dog back!! They are too attached to it. However, when Norah comes over she does tend to terrorize him, but he just takes it in stride. I agree that this it is a parents responsibility and that you need to know your pet. I also agree with Elizabeth in that if there are 15 cats and another 15 dogs, it might be a bit much!! Erin
  4. WOW!! He hit the nail right on the head!! Erin
  5. Interesting! So they could apply as single parents after the divorce I'm assuming? What about a single parent that gets married before the finalization process? Can they both "apply" to adopt the child or only the parent that started the process? The adoption world with its rules and laws is interesting to me. I would never want to be an adoption lawyer, but still interesting!! Erin
  6. Elizabeth - Has is ever happened that someone wasn't finalized yet and the adoptive parents seperated or divorced? I'm not asking for me personally!! But I was just curious if you guys have had to deal with that situation? Erin
  7. I never noticed this thread before. Erin doctor told us about Abrazo. After we checked out the website we were so impressed that we thought that they had to be the agency we would use. Mark
  8. It's really hard to say as to when the next orientation would be. It really depends on what kinds of couples or families the Abrazo ladies think they need. Mark
  9. When we went to Orientation a year ago. The cost for us was about about $1000. That includes airfare, hotel, and orientation cost. Airfare was a big chunk of that cost. We are from Minnesota so this should be a good estimate for you to go off of. That weekend was definitely worth the money. Hope this helps, Mark
  10. Good for you. Hopefully things will work out for you. Mark
  11. Congratulations Nicole and Raj!! Congratulations Jim and Andrea!! Mark
  12. Congratulations to both Yetties families!!
  13. I wouldn't have minded going to the VEG! I haven't been there in a few years. I have been there three times for national foosball tournaments. Mark
  14. Erin and Mark, ALL of that paperwork is not needed at first. On the first cover page there is a list of like 5 pages that need to be turned in within 10 days. The rest you can do within a month. Two need a notary, which your bank can do, the two agreements and the 7750.00. Let me know whats up.
