Celeste, I love your reply to your friends "labor" commet. Thank goodness I have not had anyone make a commet about that, but when they do I will be ready!!!! Nancy, Way to go on your answer too. Yep, you are not the only "old" parents. I always said I never would be an old parent. Never say never. I am 41 and my husband is 42 and our kids are almost 22 months and almost 3 months. So I say go for it. When we were signing our placement paper work with Annie I asked Angela about age. She said they really don't have an age requirement on being too old to adopt with them. I do know that some agencys do. Good luck and let us know what you decide. Jan

Lisa, Just ask your social worker. Ours required 4 references and we could use the same ones we used for Abrazo. She called them on the phone and spoke with personally. Hope this helps. Jan
