    Just an update... lately, the expectant moms who are calling our agency with specific requests in adopting parents are asking to see only profiles on childless couples living in Texas. (And given that the Texas families who are in Abrazo's program at present either all lack approved homestudies or finished profiles or both, that's a bit of a challenge!) So our upcoming orientation in October, we hope to bring in some more childless Texas couples.. y'all come on down, now, y'hear?

    Gosh, I sure wish I knew some people that would fit this bill.

  9. Gender Preference?

    Just came across this interesting thread. I must agree that boys do rule! I always thought I wanted a boy and a girl, and we are planning to adopt again. But now that we have our darling Rocco and all of these boy clothes, another boy sounds good. Otherwise, a baby sister may have some interesting outfits :P

    When we were planning our second adoption Greg wanted a girl and I said I could do another boy no problem. We got a WONDERFUL girl and I LOVE shopping for girl clothes. I am always asking "where is this in my size :D " Annie did wear a few of Jackson's outfits too.

    So bring on a baby sister for Rocco and she will wear a few of his outfits!!

    Elizabeth, I just lit a candle for the little baby boy who passed away from crib death. I always have a hard time finding the place to do that. Anyway your brother could add to the forum a place where we can just click and go right to the candles? Maybe at the top of the forum where it says members, gallery, etc.

    Still breathlessly waiting! Today is 3 weeks since we mailed in the application, and a phone call revealed that we are "pending!" Pending is good! I can handle pending! Thank you all for welcoming us so warmly! Hopefully we'll hear something in a week or two and know if we can take that next step!
