I just got back from our Women's Church Retreat in MoRanch in Hunt, TX. The speaker kept saying throughout the weekend the following:
GOD'S WILL
GOD'S WAY
GOD'S TIMING
For me personality, God's hand of providence was all over our match with Shauna. But with our failed private adoption, well, that one still takes my breathe away. I may never understand His Will in that one. But, He is in control of the ultimate details of my life and I have to believe, He has a greater YES!

When we lost our cat a few years ago, out vet sent us a card and poem too. They also took his footprints in a plaster heart. It was so sweet that they thought of us.
If the poem is the one about the "Rainbow Bridge" it is very hard to get through.
We got that poem when our pet rabbit died a few years ago. Too funny!

Ooooh, I hope you guys will get a reunion together. We'll be in San Antonio in December and would LOVE to meet up with the San Antonio crew (even if it's just a few for a quick lunch!) We are very blessed in Memphis to have a group of folks who make a point of getting together. It's been struggling a little lately, but we have a new resurgence with two new PIW Memphis couples! Wish the San Antonio crew could gain some strength in numbers!
We'll one of the best responses we've had is our Christmas Party at Alamo Cafe @ 2 years ago or so. Maybe it's an idea to re-visit. So what brings you to SA in December?

Watched the interview with Jane's daughter last night on the TV network OWN (Oprah). She showed her birthmom and how she has reunited with many of her family members. She is very well spoken and Janes kept refering to her as her "miracle"......who knew!? But, she has written a book about growing up & growing up as Jane's daughter. Great interview with Oprah!
