    When is the October, 2013 orientation weekend scheduled for?

    October 11th-12th.

    That is, of course, pending paperwork from all the lollygaggers who say they're sending it in and don't, LOL!

    If I had my child to raise all over again,

    I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later.

    I'd finger-paint more, and point the finger less.

    I would do less correcting and more connecting.

    I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.

    I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.

    I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.

    I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars.

    I'd do more hugging and less tugging.

    Thanks for posting this Mari!

    I have tried to follow the advice of my mom, who had lots of regret about spending more time doing laundry or making sure the house was spotless than spending time doing some of the little things. I try to remind myself when there are toys strung all across the house or there are dishes in the sink that I can do them later because one day in the not so distant future I am going to long for the extra work because my babies won't be babies anymore and won't want all this time with me any longer.
