  1. I was thinking about our PIWs who endure the sorrows and dashed hopes of failed matches, when I ran across this benediction by the former Chaplain of the U.S. Senate:

    You go nowhere by accident.

Wherever you go, God is sending you.

Wherever you are, God has put you there.

God has a purpose in your being here.

Christ who indwells you has something He wants to do through you, where you are.

Believe this, and go in His grace and love and power.

    Richard C. Halverson

Blessings, today, on all who wait in hope!

Thank You, I believe this is so true.

Prayers for all those in waiting,

    Tracey

  2. Denver and I will be right there with the "Old Parents". I too feel that we have more patiences and look at things differently than when we were younger. I think some things that were such a big deal, are so much a big deal now. If that makes any sense. Our focus will be on our he/she when they find us. :D I know family is the focus of all the families on the forum, otherwise we wouldn't be on here. lol There are days when I think I am ??? years old and think I don't feel that old. lol I think our child we keep us young and active. So, I am 41 and still looking so forward to being a mommy. :D

  3. What a great newsletter. The Stickybacks have talked about adoption and our churches during our conference calls. Just as the letter described, not to let others hold the child and so forth. This is a wonderful letter that is explaining the transition the child goes through, and explaining that the parents are not trying to be rude. :)

    Praise this church.

  4. Welcome Mgarcia2411, I know how excited you are just putting your papers in the mailbox. My husband and I attended the May 2008 (Stickyback) orientation. We are parents in waiting. The forum is a wonderful place of knowledge, and usually if you can't find what your looking for, just ask. This is a place of support and friends. Goodluck on your journey and I am so very happy for you getting started.

    Blessings,

    Tracey

  5. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! So happy to hear of the announcement, I think all the Stickybacks have been waiting and praying for Ashleigh, Michael, Jon Mark, and J. (and the new little precious baby boy). Hugs to you all. May god wrap his arms around J tonight and the days ahead.

  6. I did light a couple candles. Praying for the couple on their way to meet the blessing God has for them. Praying for the birthmother. May God wrap his arms around them all.

I have a candle burning for all the PIWS, may your dreams come true with the little blessing meant to be part of your families.

    Love to all,

    Tracey

  7. I agree with Suzi, accepting infertility couples is one of many reasons we chose Abrazo. And I also agree with Donna. This poor baby is being tossed from one family to another. The bonding issues have to be hard for this little angel.

Prayers for this baby and his family.
