You are a very strong lady and an amazing mother, I can see where your daughter gets it. Tears of sadness of what she and your family has gone through. Hugs to you all. 1XGrandma so glad you came to the forum for support. Suzi is right. Most of the times people only share the happy things in life. I'm not sure why that is, because here on the forum there is a lot of support and love given by everyone. I hope you find the forum a place to be able to say what you are feeling. I am a parent in waiting and do not know the pain that you are going through. But I can tell you that through your post I can tell you are feeling so many feelings and so much pain. I thank you for your honesty and for putting your feelings out there. I have learned so much through the forum and met some wonderful people who care so much. I hope you find that here too.

What a wonderful story about you and your friend. How great it must have been to receive the quilt in the mail. I always love getting cards and letters in the mail. It just has more of a personal touch to it, I think. I can tell how special your friend is to you.

Thank you all so much!!!!
The last couples days has happened so fast, but have been so wonderful!
We are soooooooooooooooooooooooo happy and so in love with our new son Lathan Nash Hawk Bustle. He is beautiful and we are feeling so blessed! It is wonderful to feel so much support and love from the forum. It means so much and we can't wait to post pictures of him (when I find the camera cord) soon. Lathan was born June 16, 6.5lbs 19 inches long and he has a head full of hair. He has been so worth the wait!! (and it has not been an easy wait at times. lol)
Please say special prayers for his first mom. I cried many tears today. Tears of happiness but also tears of sadness for Lathan's first mom. My heart aches for her today, tomorrow and the days ahead. She is truly an angel.
