  1. Congrats Rickie and Laurie. Meant to call you Friday but I thought you might be really busy with a special little gal. So precious! Can't wait for Sofia Isabel to meet her new friends. How are the grandparents and extended family doing? Prayers for your birthfamily as well. We to are excited that you'll be coming back to Texas to visit>

    All the best.

  2. Congrats to all the new families. All the pics of the new families are beautiful. We are particularly taken by little Sophie as she looks like our little Sofia did when we took her home. Love the name!

Enjoy this time it goes by really quickly.

  3. Congratulations Kristen & Rich! I loved the family photo in the gallery, and we welcome Mr. Alexander to the world!

Congratulations to Kristen, Rich and Baby Alexander Vincent(What a grand name and a grand start to parenthood). You both look so happy in the picture it brought tears of joy to my eyes.

To think only 3 weeks ago we bagan this journey together at Orientation and shared what our baby names would be. Please let us know if we can do anything for you.

  4. According to news accounts, he was just another "Homeless Man Found Murdered", in a story that's sure to be yesterday's news by tomorrow.

    But not to us.

And not to a little girl from Minnesota and her family, who cared about him deeply.

They clearly loved the tiny girl baby they placed in our care, and they knew just as clearly they could not care for her. They had big dreams for her future. They chose for her to grow up in the safety of the Midwest, far from the dangers of the underpasses where they sometimes had to sleep. On occasion, we would see Eduardo at busy intersections, panhandling. Not because he was lazy-- but because he never quite saw the point of earning more money than he needed to get by each day. And because, God bless him, he just didn't have what it took to live any other way.

Rest in peace, dear Eduardo, where the streets are paved with gold, and where you need never be hungry or thirsty or cold, again.

We remember you with love and celebrate the memory of your thirty-three years among us.

May Eduardos little girl always know how much he loved her. Our prayers are with both families.

    Rest in peace Eduardo

  5. Well, here are the three things I was kind of looking for when I was pregnant (didn't know it was triplets yet)

1.) Friendly and wanted to be my friend not just "get my baby". And wanted me as a part of the childs (childrens) life forever. Openess was a big thing!

2.) Didn't want the child in daycare so a stay at home parent or parenting plan at least.

3.) That "just right" feeling, I can't explain it, but you kinda know when you found the right one.

Thank you all for your honest responses. I am so in awe of all of you and the selfless love you all showed for your children.I look forward to having a wonderful open relationship with our BP when our time comes.

    Have a wonderful day

    Mayte
