Stork Central 1,102 Report post Posted March 12, 2009 Some of life's sweetest gifts can sometimes come in our darkest moments, and so it was for the mother who faced life's most difficult decision today, in the midst of very difficult personal circumstances She wasn't in a place to be able to parent, a fact which could not be ignored given her surroundings; however, she loves the newborn son whose name she chose so carefully, and she wants for him all that she is so ill-positioned to provide at present. So this afternoon, she made the life-altering choice to entrust him to the care of a couple from our Bald Tires orientation of 7/08, who'd waited longer than most to seek out parenthood. Still, as Abrazo's community knows so very well, the act of "placing" does not mean "giving up," and she looks forward to a long-lasting personal friendship with the couple she has helped transform into a family on this day they shall surely never forget.
