Jocelyn 377
Yeah, great job Melissa! I love the Embassy Suites and wish those discounts were there last summer...hopefully they will keep up the discounts for years to come. It definitely helps and there may be some days (especially during the 48+ hour wait) that the manager's reception will come in handy!
Andrea & Blake 95
Wow! Love ES. Great job in securing such a fantastic rate!
JagHorns 2
Thanks, Melissa! As you can see, many of us love Embassy Suites. I may make my way over to their new property downtown and claim amnesia.
ElizabethAnn 690
August orientation attendees-- we've launched your very own group thread under our Parents-in-Waiting section, so join us there, because that will eventually be a wonderful record of your respective adoption journeys from start to finish, just for you! (And it will be retitled with your very own special group name after this weekend, so come inspired!)
Stork Central 1,114
PLEASE REMEMBER: all orientation attendees have a maximum of ten (10) days from the close of orientation to decide whether they are ready to activate their file and begin their journey by returning the contracts and funds (the escrow deposit and Pre-Adoption fee) OR if they wish to forfeit their place in the orientation class and consider other options (like exploring other programs, or converting to Abrazo's Designated Program, or attending another/future orientation weekend on a space-available basis, when they do feel fully-ready to proceed.) Abrazo is unable to make exceptions to this rule, as Licensing requires all Texas agencies to apply their policies equally to all clients. Thanks for your cooperation! Stork Central 1,114
Abrazo's last orientation weekend of 2018 will be in October, at the Hilton Garden Inn... we must have your completed inquiry form, your application, and all supporting documents on file in order to confirm your registration. If you're interested in being one of Abrazo's adoption success stories in the year following this October's orientation, call Martha at 210-342-5683 and talk with her about how you can be one of the lucky folks getting in before year's end. Stork Central 1,114
Abrazo's host hotel for 2019 is the Hyatt Place Airport/Quarry, and they're giving our guests a steeply-discounted rate, so if you're coming to San Antonio for any adoption-related visit(s) and/or for our Parents of Tomorrow orientation weekend, please call the local property directly to book your stay and be sure they give you the Abrazo rate: 210-930-2333.
