  1. "So, just days from Thanksgiving, we thank God for all His blessings: for the tiny cherub with her whole future ahead of her, for the selfless birthmom who made such a tough choice on her child's behalf, for the birthsister left behind, for the foster family who helped bridge the gap, for the excited big sis taking on this new role, and for two magnificent parents who had the courage to say not "why?" but "yes!" May He shine His face upon them all and grant them great joy. " As I read and catch up here this morning this adoption in particular has touched my heart!! You are such a special family and to all of you ,Happy holidays and GOD BLESS you have heard his call and answered his request there is no question you have been called upon to "step up" and you have CONGRATS!!!! I am truely impressed!
  2. "the way i see it (i placed my son Colby his AMs name is Angie) When Angie talks about Colby he is her baby, when i talk about Colby he is my baby, but both of us always know that he is OUR baby." And Colby is one lucky little boy!!!
  3. As many of you know we are in the process of adopting our 7th child. Are we complete, yes we are now complete. For me it was a feeling, I love kids ( of course the 15 year old who is currently stomping through teh house is less than desirable at the moment) and I loved that my older kids were so close in age. So when I remarried and Brad wanted to have a child I knew there would be at least 2 more ( although I did not tell him this) I have always had wonderful adoption experiences so when Sarah was about 14 mos old and we were ready to try for another I brougth up adoption, Brad agreed and here we are today just days away from picking up our baby. I do k now that this will be it, finances are a concern and our kids are well aware of what things cost and how much money we have. I don't think this is a bad thing. But I do want them to be able to have the things they need and to be able to participate in school activities. I also know that at this point 7 is MY limit,so it is a combination of things that make you"done".
