Welcome back Robin and Jerry Somehow I ended up skipping this thread when I first joined the Forum, but by now I think most know a bit about Brian and I Cathy

Thank you. Brian is ready, but I am nervous. I'm sure I'll be even more nervous as the time nears, but we feel it is time Cathy

Well. . .this is the BIG weekend for Brian and me. We are headed to Indiana to share our adoption plan. We have decided we will inform my grandma first (by cell phone) during the drive so that she will be the first family member to know. Next in line will either be my parents or Brian's. We haven't decided which ones we'll tell first or quite how we'll bring the issue up. Our sisters will probably be a bit upset that we didn't tell them first, but Brian has been pretty set on our parents being the first to hear our news. Saturday will be the day. . .oh what a day it will be Cathy

Teena, The best thing to do is be honest. We do not currently belong to a church in our area and put n/a because that is the truth for us at this time. This does not mean we won't belong to a church in the future, but at this time we do not. We were invited to orientation, so I assume our answer did not hurt us. Cathy

We're trying to figure out what route we're going. Has anyone ever done something with PowerPoint? Cathy

Oh, I hope I didn't sound like I the Abrazochicks are sitting around twirling their thumbs I am sure they have more than their share of responsibilities to handle We're just anxious to find out if we can plan our trip to SA Of course, we're hoping we can but will accept it if we are not invited. I'm trying to stay positive and remind myself "no news is good news," but then sometimes those negative thoughts try to enter my mind. Brian keeps reminding me to stay positive. Brian called me twice today to ask me if I heard from Angela yet. He called me once yesterday to ask. Guess I'm not the only one getting anxious Cathy

For now, it seems things are moving so slow Work is keeping me extremely busy right now, but when I come home. . .I'm not as focused and just awaiting that special call But hey, I got my fifth pepper earlier today Cathy
