Abrazo Forum Terms & Rules
The Abrazo Forum is a free feature designed for the use of Abrazo Adoption Associates' friends, supporters and clients in good standing. Membership is a privilege voluntarily bestowed at Abrazo's initiative and not a service for which fees are paid; the decision to use or not use the Forum and/or information contained therein is likewise voluntary on the part of the user(s) and by doing so, the user(s) acknowledges Abrazo's nonliability (whether real or imagined) for the user's reliance on same. Out of concern for our members' privacy and security, only approved, registered users with verified identifying information on file can freely access all public topic areas, post and view photo galleries. (Some limited topics of an introductory nature can be read by guests, for educational purposes only.)
Please be aware that Abrazo cannot and does not warrant the accuracy, efficacy, validity or safety of any message, link or attachment, and is not responsible for the contents nor effects of any such information. Forum readers should not rely upon online content as a sole source of medical information, psychological guidance, adoption or legal advice.
The messages posted within express the views of each writer, and not necessarily the views of Abrazo Adoption Associates or our Forum community as a whole. However, any and all uncopyrighted material submitted by Forum members becomes the property of Abrazo and cannot be retracted; such content may also be used and/or reprinted by the agency for any purpose, without further consent nor compensation.
Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately, either by clicking the "Report" button beneath the post, or by email. Abrazo reserves the right to remove objectionable messages and/or offensive posters, and will do so within a reasonable time frame if we determine that censorship is necessary. Members who wish to leave the Forum may contact the webmaster to request that their accounts be closed but may not rescind all prior postings, as this would disrupt the continuity of those threads in which they've posted.
While intended for the private use of the Abrazo adoption community, it is important to note that all information contained within postings is accessible to others; care should therefore be taken in discerning what personal information one chooses to make public via the Internet, as any consequences are the responsibility of the posting party, regardless of age. The Forum contains adult subject matter and may not be appropriate for children without adult supervision. Abrazo cannot warrantee the safety, privacy nor security of anyone who uses the Forum, whether or not they elect to disclose identifying information, nor can Abrazo be responsible for the re-release of such information elsewhere, as these are risks assumed solely by each user, in electing to participate.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, solicitious, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, inflammatory, obscene, pornographic, profane, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. While Abrazo encourages active dialogue, including complaints, concerns, and criticisms, we reserve the right to remove posts which violate our broad terms of acceptibility. The Forum administrators will be the final arbiters of the inappropriateness of any post. Likewise, you agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you are the owner of that copyright.
Abrazo's Forum is not intended to contribute to the facilitation of private adoptions and members are strictly prohibited from contacting parties on the Forum for the purpose of soliciting or initiating private placement plans as well as any other arrangements and/or proposals which run counter to the interests of Abrazo and/or its clientele. Discovery of such efforts shall constitute grounds for termination of Forum membership.
Thanks for reading this... now enjoy our online community, with our compliments!
